The museum is closed January 1, Lunar New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, every Monday, and the period of preparing an exhibition, (to be announced).

Docent Tour

Weekdays : 11 am, 3 pm

Weekend : 11 am, 2 pm, 4 pm

Admission fee

Free of charge (Admission fee may be charged for certain exhibitions.)

Group Tour

Group visits with over 20 people are available by reservation. If you submit a reservation request on-line, via the museum homepage, parking space and guidance are also offered.

Group visits by children or students must be accompanied by parents or teachers. Notification of such viewing before visiting will enable a more orderly and safer viewing experience.

Museum Conduct

Pohang Museum of Art is a public art museum for all. Special attention to the following is required for a desirable exhibition culture.

  • Do not hurry entering the building and viewing the works.
  • Check belongings at the desk that may hamper viewing, such as food, balls, roller blades and umbrellas.
  • Do not touch artworks, and be careful not to damage them.
  • Careful parental consideration is required for children’s viewing.
Exhibition Notice

Public art museum for everyone. I would like to pay special attention to the following matters so that we can create a desirable exhibition culture together.

  • No food or drink allowed

    Water, beverages and other foods are only available in the café, and if you bring your food, please keep it at the information desk before entering.
  • Prohibited to carry garbage

    The park is located in the park where the museum is located, and there is no trash can in the museum. Please take your garbage back.
  • Do not carry dangerous goods

    In addition to the stroller, you can not enter the exhibition hall where obstacles to the protection and appreciation of your work, such as wheeled shoes, quick-board, bulky bags, umbrellas, balloons, water guns, etc. are kept in the information desk.
  • No pets allowed

    Pets can not enter the museum. However, guide dogs can enter.
  • Protection of works

    Please be careful not to touch your fingers or belongings with your work, and please refrain from doing anything that could damage your work.
  • Whether the photo was taken

    The copyright of the work is related with the copyright of the artist.
  • Observance of viewing manners

    The guardian should take the children's hand and instruct them not to shout or run around the hall. Please also vibrate your mobile phone for other viewers.

Please follow the instructions of the management personnel in order to observe other exhibitions.
